Job description

We are seeking a highly qualified legal professional to join our dynamic team as a Local Legal Counsel. This role requires in-depth knowledge of UAE laws and regulations, with additional knowledge of KSA law considered a plus. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing legal advice and support for our Dubai operations across construction, architectural services, and corporate governance sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer legal counsel on UAE regulatory compliance, contract law, procurement, and dispute resolution.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including consultancy agreements, construction contracts, NDAs, and joint ventures.
  • Manage legal risks related to design, planning, licensing, and project delivery.
  • Liaise with external legal advisors, government authorities, and clients as needed.
  • Support corporate governance and ensure compliance with local legal requirements.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing internal legal policies and procedures.
  • Stay abreast of legislative changes impacting architecture, engineering, and construction sectors in the UAE.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent; UAE or UK legal qualification is essential.
  • 3–5 years of relevant legal experience, ideally within construction, real estate, or a professional services firm.
  • Strong grasp of UAE federal and Dubai-specific laws.
  • Proven experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and risk management.
  • Excellent command of English; proficiency in Arabic is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
