Job summary

A construction and engineering firm in Dubai is seeking a Working Capital & Treasury Lead to oversee essential processes involving Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management. The role includes managing treasury operations, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and leading a team to optimize working capital. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in treasury within the construction industry, strong analytical skills, and related qualifications. This full-time position does not support remote work.

Qualifications

• 710 years of accounting experience with a strong focus on working capital and treasury.
• Proven experience in construction/contracting treasury including bonds and guarantees.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or chief accountant-level role.

Responsibilities

• Lead all working capital components including Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Manage treasury operations and cash flow forecasting.
• Oversee billing cycles, receipts reconciliations and collections.

Skills

Strong treasury knowledge

Solid understanding of construction working capital drivers

Excellent financial analysis skills

High attention to detail

Strong communication and stakeholder management

Ability to lead teams

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field

ACCA, CPA, CMA (full or part-qualified) preferred

Tools

ERP experience

Knowledge of Xpedeon
