Role Overview:
As
Lead – SME Customer Acquisition, you will own the
end-to-end customer sourcing across all channels for SME Liabilities. You’ll lead the
sales team, manage
strategic partnerships (including CSPs and free zones), and drive
organic acquisition through digital and ecosystem-led initiatives. This is a high-impact leadership role with full accountability for
customer acquisition targets and
channel performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Acquisition Strategy
- Define and execute a multi-channel SME Liabilities acquisition strategy aligned with business growth targets.
- Own the acquisition funnel across direct sales, partnerships, and organic channels.
Sales Leadership
- Lead and scale the direct sales team focused on SME onboarding and conversion.
- Set performance targets, coach team members, and drive a high-performance culture.
Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with Corporate Service Providers (CSPs), free zones, and other SME enablers.
- Develop co-branded acquisition programs and referral models.
Organic & Digital Growth
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to drive organic acquisition via digital campaigns, SEO, and platform-led growth.
- Leverage data and insights to optimize acquisition journeys and conversion rates.
Performance & Reporting
- Track acquisition metrics across channels and report performance to leadership.
- Continuously refine strategies based on data, feedback, and market trends.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8–12 years of experience in SME banking, fintech, or digital sales leadership.
- Proven track record of driving customer acquisition across multiple channels.
- Strong understanding of the UAE SME ecosystem, including CSPs and free zones.
- Experience managing sales teams and strategic partnerships.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and execution skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in a digital bank or fintech environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, sales automation, and digital acquisition platforms.
- Outstanding understanding of AML & CTF regulations & experience in collaborating with compliance teams to do the right thing.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action and ownership.
