Job summary

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, with 15–20 years of EPC project experience in Oil & Gas, and ideally 5 years working with ADNOC Offshore. Job description
Role Purpose

To lead, manage, and implement the Quality Management System (QMS) for the Offshore project, ensuring full compliance with ADNOC standards, ISO 9001:2015 requirements, contractual obligations, and project specifications. The Lead QA / QC Engineer is responsible for overseeing all quality-related activities across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning phases, ensuring consistent quality performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
QA / QC Planning & QMS Implementation
  • Hold overall responsibility and accountability for all QA / QC activities on the project
  • Establish, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP), procedures, work instructions, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Ensure effective implementation of QMS in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ADNOC Offshore requirements
  • Define and monitor project quality KPIs and performance metrics
  • Promote continuous improvement and integration of lessons learned across project phases
Quality Assurance & Control Execution
  • Ensure contractual quality requirements are fully implemented throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct quality audits, surveillance, and compliance inspections at all project locations (onshore, offshore, yards, vendors)
  • Lead management of NCRs including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and closure verification
  • Ensure timely reporting of quality performance, trends, and risks to Project Management and ADNOC Offshore Quality Representative
  • Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, registers, and records
Interface with ADNOC Offshore & Stakeholders
  • Act as the primary focal point for all quality‑related communication with ADNOC Offshore
  • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, HSE, and Project Management teams
  • Attend quality review meetings, audits, and management review sessions with ADNOC Offshore
  • Ensure timely submission of quality reports, dashboards, and documentation
Contractor & Subcontractor Quality Management
  • Review and approve contractor and subcontractor quality documents, PQPs, ITPs, and procedures
  • Ensure subcontractor QA / QC teams meet competency and certification requirements
  • Monitor vendor and subcontractor compliance with approved quality plans and inspection requirements
  • Conduct vendor inspections, audits, and surveillance activities
Team Leadership & Management
  • Provide leadership, direction, and technical guidance to the QA / QC team
  • Manage QA / QC personnel across offshore platforms, fabrication yards, manufacturing facilities, and site installations
  • Ensure effective coordination between multi‑discipline QA / QC teams
  • Support training, mentoring, and development of QA / QC personnel
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
  • ADNOC Offshore approval (preferred)
  • CSWIP 3.1 / AWS Certified Welding Inspector
  • BGAS Grade 2 Painting Inspector
Experience
  • Minimum 15–20 years of EPC project experience in Oil & Gas (Onshore & Offshore)
  • Minimum 5 years ADNOC Offshore experience (Preferred)
  • Strong exposure to offshore brownfield projects and live facilities
  • Proven experience managing QA / QC activities across EPC project phases
