About Us

We are an early-stage financial technology company dedicated to transforming how Sudanese people access, move, and manage money.

We are building the financial infrastructure Sudan deserves – fast, inclusive, and tailored to the realities of a complex and underserved market. We are seeking a Lead Product Marketer to establish and lead our consumer product marketing function.

The Opportunity

As our first marketing hire, you will lead the development and execution of the end-to-end marketing strategy for our products, targeting customers in Sudan and the global Sudanese diaspora. You will build the marketing function from the ground up, delivering multi‑channel acquisition, activation, and retention campaigns across paid digital, influencer partnerships, referrals, community activations, guerrilla initiatives, and targeted traditional media.

This is a hands‑on, data‑driven role requiring continuous testing, optimisation, and scalable execution, with full responsibility for budget management, performance tracking, and assembling and managing agencies, freelancers, and market representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimise the end‑to‑end marketing strategy for digital financial services.
  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns across paid media, influencer partnerships, referral programs, grassroots and guerrilla tactics, and selected traditional channels.
  • Create and refine messaging that resonates deeply with Sudanese audiences at home and abroad.
  • Establish and manage relationships with creative agencies, freelancers, and local marketing partners.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of content, assets, and collateral for all consumer‑facing channels.
  • Lead influencer engagement, developing strategic partnerships with trusted community voices.
  • Design, implement, and monitor referral and loyalty programs to drive organic growth.
  • Conduct ongoing data‑driven performance analysis, applying insights to refine campaigns and improve ROI.
  • Define and uphold brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and cultural insights relevant to Sudanese people at home and in the diaspora.
Requirements
  • 7+ years in consumer marketing, ideally in fintech, payments, or other high‑growth digital products
  • At least 1 year of experience in a B2C Fintech or B2C tech startup.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling marketing initiatives in emerging markets, preferably with direct experience in Sudan or within Sudanese diaspora communities.
  • Proven expertise in paid digital marketing, influencer outreach, referral program development, and community‑based marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience managing creative agencies, contractors, and distributed teams.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and brand‑building capabilities.
  • High degree of adaptability, resilience, and resourcefulness, with experience in lean, early‑stage environments.
  • Arabic language skills and/or established networks within Sudanese communities are highly advantageous.
