Job summary

A leading airline in the UAE seeks a team leader for monitoring and supervising structures, paint, and machining tasks on aircraft. The role requires extensive aviation experience and a degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a valid B1 Aircraft Maintenance License and be proficient in assessing damages and certifying repairs according to OEM and GCAA standards. Responsibilities include leading a team, ensuring safety compliance, and documenting repairs in systems.

Qualifications

• 10 years of aviation experience with a degree, or 15 years without.
• 3 years in a team lead role.
• Formal training in aircraft structures/composites required.
• Valid B1 Aircraft Maintenance License needed.
• Proficient in SRM, CMM, AMM for EY Fleet.

Responsibilities

• Assess and repair aircraft or engine reported damages per OEM instructions.
• Review manuals for damage assessments and repair procedures.
• Certify structural repairs performed by technicians.
• Communicate with Maintenance Control Centre for damage reporting.
• Lead the structures/paint team and document repairs.
