Job summary

A leading construction firm in the UAE is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to conduct topographic and boundary surveys using modern equipment. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or bachelor's degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering with 3–7 years of experience in construction projects, particularly within the UAE or GCC. Responsibilities include preparing site layouts, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.

Job description

Collect, record, and analyze survey data for site planning and design purposes.

Ensure surveys are performed according to project specifications, standards, and safety requirements.

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to support site execution.

Maintain survey records, drawings, and reports for project documentation.

Inspect and calibrate surveying instruments to ensure accuracy.

Assist in resolving any site discrepancies related to measurements or levels.

Candidate Criteria
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Geomatics.
  • 3–7 years experience as a Land Surveyor in construction or contracting projects (UAE/GCC preferred).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, total station, GPS, and other surveying instruments/software.
  • Strong knowledge of surveying principles, leveling, and site layout procedures.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work on site under varying conditions and ensure high accuracy in measurements.
