Job description

We are seeking a qualified Laboratory Coordinator to serve as the operational link between clients field teams and the laboratory. The role oversees client communications schedules and logistics and end-to-end lab administration to ensure every project is delivered on time with precision and in full compliance.

  • Respond to client inquiries phone calls and correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate sample collection schedules and the delivery of sampling bottles with clients.
  • Liaise with laboratory and field teams to plan site visits and ensure operational readiness.
  • Arrange travel logistics (flights and accommodation) in coordination with the travel function.
  • Register samples accurately in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Prepare and submit gate pass and site access permit applications.
  • Raise and track purchase orders for materials consumables and subcontracted services.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to meet delivery timelines and quality requirements.
  • Create job entries in the BOSS (or internal ERP) system and prepare corresponding invoices.
  • Maintain records documentation and reports in line with company procedures and audit standards.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Science Commerce or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar coordination/operations role (laboratory or field services preferred).
  • Proficiency with LIMS and ERP systems; strong MS Office/Google Workspace skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
