Summary

We're seeking a Packaging Development Engineer to lead the creation of premium packaging solutions across fragrance, and upcoming product lines. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver packaging that is luxurious, technically sound, and sustainably forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop and technically specify primary and secondary packaging from concept to commercialization
• Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and Regulatory teams to ensure packaging meets functional, aesthetic, and compliance standards
• Partner with a network of suppliers to source innovative materials and components, and manage technical feasibility, testing, and qualification
• Conduct compatibility studies, performance testing, and risk assessments for packaging across categories
• Drive innovation in luxury finishes and sustainable packaging technologies
• Support artwork development and ensure packaging aligns with brand guidelines and regional regulations
• Stay attuned to emerging trends in cosmetic packaging, especially in fragrance and makeup

Collaboration & Innovation

• Build strong relationships with packaging suppliers and manufacturers
• Lead technical discussions and co‑develop solutions with vendors to meet ambitious design and sustainability goals
• Scout new technologies, materials, and formats that elevate user experience and brand differentiation

Requirements

• 3-6 years in packaging development, ideally within fragrance, skincare and cosmetics, preferably in luxury
• Experience in makeup packaging (e.g., compacts, lipsticks, palettes, applicators) is highly valued
• Familiarity with luxury packaging materials and decoration techniques
• Knowledge of sustainability standards and eco‑conscious packaging solutions
• Proficient in CAD software and packaging testing protocols
• Strong project management and cross‑functional collaboration skills
