Description

• Gain experience in all aspects of workplace related practices and DP World safety standards.
• Develop skills and build on knowledge to carry out planned maintenance on all items related to Reefer and general cooling systems.
• Learn to provide maximum operational availability of equipment by conducting periodic diagnostic work and repairs.
• Keep the Supervisor and other experienced technicians informed of progress & problems to ensure smooth flow of communication.
• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of workshop facilities/Work areas and all equipment to create a safe and healthy work environment.
• Gain knowledge and hands-on experience on how to carry out fault diagnosis on the equipment, ascertain the cause of defects, repair methods, and spare part requirements.
• Familiarize yourself with methods to select the correct spare parts and obtain technical information from manufacturers' parts and technical manuals.
• Carry out duties with guidance and supervision of more experienced technicians and independently where applicable.
• Build a foundation to expand knowledge across DPW Engineering sections, including plant & crane, mechanical, and electrical works.
