Job Description: Our client is seeking a creative and innovative Product Designer with a passion for decorative lighting and artwork to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing bespoke lighting and art pieces that elevate luxury spaces and reflect our brands commitment to craftsmanship, beauty, and originality. You will collaborate closely with design, sales, and production teams to bring your designs to life, ensuring that each product meets aesthetic, functional, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design bespoke decorative lighting and artwork that aligns with project briefs and client expectations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop products from initial concept to production-ready designs.
• Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and prototypes for new products.
• Create mood boards, sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Incorporate design trends, materials, and technologies to create innovative, high quality products.
• Conduct research on materials, trends, and the latest lighting technologies and artwork techniques to stay ahead in the industry.
• Ensure all products adhere to quality standards and project timelines.
• Provide ongoing design support and revisions during the production and installation phases.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in product design, preferably in decorative lighting or art for the luxury hospitality industry, with 1-3 years of professional experience in the sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
• Strong proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, 3ds Max, Arnold Rendering, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• A deep understanding of materials, finishes, interior design, and lighting technologies.
• Knowledge of interior design, architectural principles and hospitality industry standards and customer preferences.
• Strong creative vision with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Ability to create realistic renderings and prototypes for presentations and client proposals.
• Strong project management skills, including budget management and timeline adherence.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience working with designers and manufacturers.
