Job Overview

IIQAF Group is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support accounting and financial operations within our Construction division in Dubai. The role involves day-to-day accounting entries, invoicing, expense tracking, and financial documentation, ensuring accurate records in compliance with UAE accounting standards.

This position is ideal for candidates starting or developing their career in construction accounting and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain daily accounting entries including vouchers, receipts, and journals
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Prepare and verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests
  • Track project expenses, site costs, and petty cash
  • Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
  • Support preparation of monthly financial reports and MIS
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE VAT regulations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
  • Coordinate with project teams, procurement, and finance managers
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Junior Accountant, Accounts Assistant, or Accounting Executive
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial documentation
  • Familiarity with UAE VAT rules (preferred)
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
