About the job

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to assist with financial transactions, bookkeeping, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and experience with financial software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and invoices.
  • Process payments, bank reconciliations, and expense reports.
  • Support in preparing financial statements and reports.
  • Assist with monthly and year‑end closing processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards.
  • Help with VAT calculations, filing, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Handle petty cash management and maintain records.
  • Stay updated with UAE tax laws and financial regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
