About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and security-conscious IT Operations Analyst to join our Systems Access Control Team within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) function. The ideal candidate will have experience in the banking sector, preferably with a strong understanding of Islamic banking principles, and will ensure secure and compliant access to systems and applications across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage user identities, roles, and access rights across all critical banking systems in line with IAM policies and frameworks.
• Process access provisioning, modification, and de-provisioning requests in accordance with SLAs and security best practices.
• Ensure access control compliance with internal security policies, regulatory requirements (e.g., UAE Central Bank), and Sharia-compliant banking standards.
• Collaborate with IT Security, Audit, Risk, and Compliance teams to support internal/external audits and risk assessments.
• Conduct periodic access reviews, segregation of duties (SoD) analysis, and user certification campaigns.
• Investigate and resolve access-related incidents and requests using ticketing systems.
• Contribute to the automation and optimization of IAM processes and access control tools.

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management or IT Security operations.
• Proven experience in Islamic banking or financial services within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts (e.g., least privilege, role-based access, lifecycle management).
• Familiarity with core banking systems and enterprise platforms such as Active Directory, Microsoft Azure AD, Exchange Admin Console, SQL, MySQL DB, PAM solutions, IAM products and others.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to IT security and access control in the UAE banking sector.
• Certifications such as Security+, CISM, CISSP, or relevant IAM credentials are a plus.
