Job Description – IT Director
Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Director to lead and oversee the full spectrum of IT operations, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives across multiple entities within the group. The IT Director will be responsible for managing internal systems, supervising vendors, ensuring cybersecurity and compliance, and aligning IT strategy with organizational goals. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and hands‑on technical expertise to drive efficiency, security, and innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
  • Define and execute the IT strategy in alignment with business objectives, reporting directly to the COO.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
  • Advise senior management on emerging technologies and digital transformation opportunities.
  • Ensure standardized IT governance and policies are applied consistently across all entities.
Infrastructure & Systems Oversight
  • Oversee the management and optimization of infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, firewalls, UPS, and NAS systems).
  • Ensure effective operation of Google Workspace and Office 365 environments, Active Directory, including domain, user, and email management.
  • Supervise management of Wi‑Fi systems, IP telephony, printer management, CCTV, access control, and biometric attendance systems.
Vendor & Budget Management
  • Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring for IT service providers and technology solutions.
  • Oversee IT budgeting, cost optimization, and procurement in close collaboration with Finance and Procurement teams.
  • Manage subscriptions, licenses, and IT asset lifecycle management.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, security standards, and compliance frameworks.
  • Oversee deployment and management of security tools (e.g., device protection, firewalls, backup solutions).
  • Ensure data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity measures are in place.
Application & Cloud Management
  • Oversee cloud environments and applications including Azure Portal, Hosting providers, DNS, backups.
  • Manage web hosting, task management software, and source control.
  • Lead the implementation and management of Oracle Fusion applications, ensuring successful deployment, integration, and adoption across entities.
  • Coordinate with vendors for software development, integrations, and enterprise applications.
End-User & Operations Support
  • Ensure IT systems support smooth day‑to‑day operations, including smart TVs, conferencing systems, and meeting room booking systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement of IT service delivery and user satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in IT leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in IT infrastructure of large organizations, vendor management, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise IT operations, networking, cloud services, and IT governance frameworks.
  • Experience managing budgets, procurement, and cross‑functional collaboration with finance and business teams.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, decision‑making, and communication skills.
  • UAE National is required for this role.
Location & Work Mode
  • On‑site role, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
  • Group‑wide responsibility, covering IT operations and strategy across multiple entities.
