Role

Eaton is seeking an IT Channel Engineer - Customer Facing who will be responsible for driving business growth of Eaton\'s Distributed Power Quality by building and managing relationships with IT Resellers & System Integrators in the region. This role involves relationship building, and technical engineering business sales planning to ensure DPQ products are Positioned with the IT Resellers & System Integrators.

This role demands a basic understanding of UPs Technologies, PDU, Racks, KVM Switches, Connectivity Cables & Accessories. In this role you will identify, recruit and onboard New Channel Partners, develop and implement channel strategies to achieve growth targets and expand market reach.

What you’ll do

• Provide partners with the necessary training, resources, and support to effectively sell the company\'s products or services. Monitoring and analyzing partner performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing action plans.
• Foster strong, long-term relationships with channel partners. Working with internal teams, such as marketing and product management, to align channel initiatives and support partner activities from a technical engineering perspective.
• Provide partners with the necessary technical support to close deals and meet sales targets. Staying informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to adapt channel strategies.
• Resellers Recruitment and Management: Identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new channel partners, while also nurturing relationships with existing partners.
• Partner Enablement: Supporting the resellers by promoting Eaton runrate business.
• Performance Management: Monitoring and analyzing partner performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing action plans.
• Relationship Building: Fostering strong, long-term relationships with resellers partners.
• Collaboration: Working with internal teams, such as marketing and product management, to align resellers initiatives and support partner activities. Staying informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to adapt channel strategies.
• Technical Support to other teams for the Contract Negotiation: Managing contracts and agreements with channel partners.
• Reporting: Technical support for preparing and delivering regular sales forecasts and reports on Resellers performance.
• Competition Intelligence: Being trained on Eaton portfolio knowing our competitors capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
• 2+ years of IT Channel Growth Experience - Relationship with Tier 2, IT Resellers/System Integrators

Skills

• Basic knowledge of UPS technologies and ability to perform UPS sizing and load analysis.
• Understanding of power quality issues (voltage sags, harmonics, transients) and how UPS systems mitigate them.
• Familiarity with battery technologies (VRLA, Li-ion, NiCd) and their integration with UPS systems.
• Sales & Business Development, Relationship Building, Strategic Thinking, CRM Proficiency, Industry Knowledge, Problem Solving.
