Job description

This opportunity is part of AECOM's Fursa Program and is open exclusively to UAE Nationals holding a valid family book.

Are you a driven university student eager to gain real-world experience in the construction and advisory sector? AECOM is seeking an Undergraduate Intern to join our Advisory team to support projects that shape sustainable and innovative infrastructure across the region.

This opportunity is ideal for students in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business-related fields who are passionate about data project delivery and the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support project teams with data collection, market research, and technical analysis.
  2. Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and client presentations.
  3. Help manage project documentation, benchmarks, and internal knowledge libraries.
  4. Draft and track Requests for Information (RFIs) to support project planning and delivery.
  5. Participate in QA/QC processes to ensure quality standards are met.
  6. Work closely with senior consultants across various disciplines including project management, cost consulting, and infrastructure advisory.
What We're Looking For:
  1. Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
  2. Good communication skills and confidence in teamwork.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with Power BI or Primavera is a plus.
  4. A self-motivated and proactive attitude with keen attention to detail.
  5. Passion for learning and an interest in the construction or consulting industry.

  • Start Date: May or June 2025
  • Duration: 12 months (full-time internship transitioning to part-time)
  • Location: Dubai
  • Part-time hours
  • Potential for promotion into a full-time Graduate role after successful internship completion and degree attainment.
  • Eligibility: As part of AECOM's commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labor law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
