Job Description

Develop creative and practical architectural and interior design concepts for commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential fit-out projects.

Full-cycle follow-up with China-based factories (order placement → production progress → quality inspection).

Prepare detailed shop drawings, joinery details, material boards, and 3D renderings for client approvals.

Ensure full compliance with DM and other local authority regulations for all design submissions and approvals.

Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to understand design requirements and translate them into functional and aesthetic solutions.

Coordinate with MEP, structural, and site teams to ensure designs are executable and align with project scope.

Prepare and submit architectural and interior design documentation for DM and other authority approvals.

Review and approve materials and mock-ups in collaboration with procurement and production teams.

Assist project teams during site execution by providing design clarifications and resolving technical issues.

Stay updated with industry trends, DM guidelines, and sustainable design practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a recognized institution.

Dubai Municipality (DM) Approved Architect – must be registered and authorized to submit drawings to DM.

3+ years of relevant experience in joinery and interior fit-out within the UAE.

Strong portfolio showcasing design and technical proficiency in high-end joinery and fit-out works.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Knowledge of local building codes, authority regulations (DM, DCD, Trakhees, etc.), and submission procedures.

Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills.

Strong time management with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Skills

Driving license required; basic English proficiency is a plus.

Familiar with common material properties and manufacturing processes.
