Job summary

A leading energy consultancy in Dubai is seeking an Interface Draftsman to manage project interfaces and ensure proper documentation. You will work under the Interface Manager, playing a vital role in monitoring progress and leading meetings to resolve technical and contractual issues. Knowledge of DGN files and QC tools is essential. The role requires strong coordination skills and the ability to draft technical reports effectively.

Interface Draftsman

Urgently required for South Dubai Office

• Under the supervision of the Interface Manager in charge of identifying and specifying the interfaces between projects.
• In charge of monitoring the progress of the actions and requirements associated to the resolution of the interface between elements during the different project stages (Design Phases Construction Phases and Testing and Commissioning)
• In charge of fulfilling the Interface Control Documents for the interfaces between work elements
• In charge of reporting to the Interface team any blocking points in the interface resolution of the interfaces between work elements
• In charge of leading interface meetings between entities of the project responsible for the work parts and using the results of these meeting as input for technical and the contractual Interface Control Documents
• In charge of reviewing (with the support of Technical Experts) the technical propositions of the entities involved in the interfaces between work elements to solve specific interfaces
• In charge of coordinating with Manager the resolution of the technical/contractual issue related to the resolution of the interfaces between work elements
• In charge of drafting technical correspondence and reports related to critical technical issue in relation with the work elements
• Providing inputs to the team for the Clients report in relation with the interfaces between work element.
