Job description

The role involves working on projects associated with stormwater & drainage flood alleviation wastewater networks and water distribution networks. This will involve undertaking investigations pipelines valves Rising main construction supervision & monitoring of design and infrastructure work.

Key Accountabilities

• Interacting with clients and contractor staff to determine and verify project requirements.
• Interacting with contractor sub-contractor and laboratory & monitoring construction work on daily basis.
• Control the site inspection and testing and maintaining inspection reports and site test records.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare instructions specifications and reports and cost estimates.
• Review and approve Design document and construction plan and procedure.
• Performing civil and structural tests.
• Providing general inspection on all construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.
• Identifying non-conforming works generating reports and corrective actions and coordinating responses.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
• Internal and external client DM Infrastructure liaison.
• Experience in utility diversions and management.
