A leading technology firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an ILS Manager to oversee project management across various ILS disciplines. The ideal candidate will coordinate with stakeholders, ensure timely and quality delivery of services, and support offer preparations for new business opportunities. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage subcontractor relationships effectively.

Responsibilities
  • ILS development topics:
  • The ILS Manager will act as Project manager for all ILS disciplines
  • Support of the offer preparation phase, for new business opportunities
  • Project Leader and ILS Focal Point for the assigned Programs
  • ILS Management Set-Up including ILS Milestone Planning, coordination, follow-up, reporting of ILS work packages (LSA, Tech Pubs, Obsolescence Management, Training)
  • Ensure that the Customer requirements with respect to Services and ILS are respected
  • Ensure the delivery on time, on cost and on quality of all the contractual deliverables
  • Design To Support: strengthen the direct connection between Services and Engineering, to influence system design for optimal supportability in service
  • Provide Support for blocking points solutions at Project level
  • Selection of local ILS Suppliers /Subcontractor and organization of the startup of the subcontracted activities
  • Management of R&S global production team, for the different ILS work packages (work packages preparation, planning, periodical reporting meetings, blocking point animation, quality checks on the deliverables and related administrative documents)
  • Technical checks of the internal deliveries
  • Coordination with all relevant internal and external Stakeholders (e.g. Production, Supply Chain, Sales, Project Managers, Customers)
  • Coordination of entry into service phase with Service Transition teams
  • Project monitoring with respect to time, cost and quality
  • Establishment of a periodical reporting (visual management)
  • Link with ILS Team in RSM
  • Participate in Customer ILS Progress MeetingsPreparation for Entry into Service:
  • Actively participate in the creation of proposals for customer projects.
  • Identify and implement required service and support structures as well as capabilities
  • Implement contract details in SAP and C4C (contract number, support teams, KPIs, etc.).
  • Initiating and monitoring the service-oriented material introduction, including subcontractor management.
  • Create and maintain the Service Implementation Plan until handover to the Service Delivery Manager (SDM).
  • Coordinate and initiate the creation and maintenance of the system bill of materials.
  • Ensure spare parts availability within customer projects.
  • Implement the training concept for internal and external service and support personnel.
  • Participate in the FAT & FinAT to finalize service and support-related information.
  • Conduct an end-to-end test of the defined service processes.
  • Hand over and explain the defined service concept to the Service Delivery Manager and the Service and Support Structure.
  • Contribute to the service product development process if necessary.
