Job summary

A leading power company in the United Arab Emirates seeks an I&C Technician to manage maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a Coal-fired Power Plant, equipped with a technical certificate in Instrument Engineering. Responsibilities include routine preventative maintenance, monitoring equipment, and ensuring compliance with HSE and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as a technician in instrument and control maintenance in a Coal-fired Power Plant.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine preventative maintenance on instrumentation and control systems.
• Monitor physical condition of systems and report non-conformances.
• Respond to instrumentation and control failures and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot and repair operational equipment and ensure proper calibration.

Skills

Practical Knowledge of relevant plant equipment

Practical knowledge of maintenance principles

Awareness of HSE & quality standards

Teamwork and effective collaboration skills

Knowledge of First aid measures

Education

Technical certificate / Associate’s Diploma in Instrument Engineering
