Job summary

A local construction firm in Dubai is looking for experienced HVAC Technicians to join their team. Candidates should possess 2-3 years of experience in HVAC systems, particularly in building construction. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC equipment. Overview

Position: HVAC Technicians

Location: Dubai, UAE

Company: Precision Plus Building Contracting

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: AED 1,200 – AED 1,700 per month (depending on experience)

Start Date: Immediate

We are currently looking for experienced HVAC Technicians to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC systems, particularly in high-rise and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities
  • System Installation: Install ducting, piping, and HVAC units (split units, package units, FCUs, AHUs, VRF systems).
  • Mount and connect thermostats, diffusers, grills, and dampers as per approved drawings.
  • Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret HVAC and MEP drawings; follow consultant instructions and authority-approved shop drawings.
  • Testing & Commissioning: Conduct pressure tests, vacuuming, and refrigerant charging; assist with system balancing and commissioning activities.
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Diagnose and repair HVAC faults including electrical and refrigeration issues; perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment and components.
  • Coordination: Work with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to avoid service clashes; coordinate with civil/finishing works for proper installation.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations comply with Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and international HVAC standards; maintain correct refrigerant pressures, slopes, and airflows.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all site HSE policies and wear PPE; safely handle refrigerants, electrical systems, and heavy equipment.
  • Tools & Material Management: Properly use, maintain, and store HVAC tools; report tool defects or material shortages to the supervisor.
  • Problem Solving: Identify system conflicts or design issues and raise to supervisor; suggest safe and practical solutions (with approval).
  • Reporting: Record daily progress of HVAC works; notify the site supervisor of material or manpower requirements in advance.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an HVAC Technician in building construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret HVAC and MEP drawings.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems including VRF, DX, chilled water preferred.
  • Familiarity with UAE codes and safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
