KIKO Milano is a leading cosmetics company, and we are seeking a highly motivated HRBP who can manage and support our retail operation and its employees across the region on all HR aspects: Recruitments, Reporting, Employees relations, Team acquisition and development, Performance Management, Payroll, Development of HR practices and Processes.

The HRBP would also support the HR Manager to initiate, implement and administer human resources plans and projects as well as organize HR activities of the department and drive the daily operational issues.

Role: HRBP

Reports to: HR Manager

Location: Dubai, UAE

Geographic Scope: Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan

Main Responsibilities
Business Units’ Support
  • Position HR function as Business Partner and cooperate with the Retail Leaders in participating in Business reviews as well as advise on HR related aspects, employee relations, motivation programs, retention programs.
  • Manage relationships and fruitful cooperation with KIKO MILANO local partner, ensuring that policies are applied in boutiques.
  • Assist and handle HR Projects.
  • Work closely with all store employees in a consultancy role, assisting line managers and employees in personnel matters, clarifying and implementing policies and procedures, headcount planning, developing plans and identifying competencies.
  • Support change and ensure the implementation of all new HR initiatives and activities.
  • Generate reports for all departments/company for promotions, raises, bonuses and other uses.
  • Periodic store visits in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Jordan are required.
High Potential Development
  • Meet with all concerned Commercial team members and review performance appraisals and promotion history for key talents.
  • Challenge and encourage employees to take action to prepare for and initiate role transitions by obtaining experiences and acquiring skills needed to make role transitions.
  • Manage and assist in the organization of training seminars and nominations.
  • Ensure the KPI reports have been set for all employees and guide them through the process as required.
People Management
  • Manage all local compliance matters including nationalization.
  • Handle Performance Management cycle.
Recruitment and Job Postings
  • Work with hiring managers to define their recruitment needs and agree on timelines.
  • Review applicants’ CVs and conduct needed assessments.
Employee Engagement and Employee Satisfaction Management
  • Work closely with the Commercial team to improve employee engagement and encourage Business Unit heads to foster a healthy work environment.
  • Analyse the results of the Employee Surveys, hold meetings with the Commercial team to identify areas requiring improvement and to devise action plans to be implemented.
  • Facilitate the communication of the action plans to employees.
  • Measure the impact of the action plans with the following Employee Survey.
HR Support Services - Employee Relations
  • Guide employees in their on-boarding from Offer letter, visa/labour card processing, Company’s culture, Rules and Regulations and the Resources available to them, through to their probation period and subsequent confirmation of employment.
  • Provide an effective employee relations service including advising and participating in disciplinary and grievance and conflict resolution when required.
  • Manage Employees relations when required and ensure retention.
Skills & Competencies
  • University graduate.
  • Regional retail experience within the fashion or cosmetic industries is a must
  • 5-7 years’ experience in HR with 3 years minimum in a similar role.
  • Full-time position with frequent travel required.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is a must. French is a plus.

  • Computer applications, especially high proficiency in HRMS Systems.
