Job summary

A leading energy company is seeking an HSE Supervisor for a Solar PV project in Abu Dhabi. The HSE Supervisor will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards on-site to ensure compliance with project regulations. Candidates should have a technical diploma or degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in energy or Solar PV construction projects. HSE certifications and knowledge of international standards will be advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in energy or Solar PV construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction site HSE risks and controls.
  • Familiarity with international standards (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 preferred).
  • HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are an advantage.

  • Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety inductions.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with HSE procedures.

HSE Supervisor – Solar PV Project
Position Summary

The HSE Supervisor is responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements on site to ensure compliance with project standards, Moroccan regulations, and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and enforce the Project HSE Plan.
  • Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety inductions.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with HSE procedures and permits to work.
  • Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; support investigations and corrective actions.
  • Ensure environmental controls are implemented (waste management, dust, noise, spill prevention).
  • Maintain HSE records, statistics, and reporting.
  • Liaise with Site Manager and Client on HSE performance.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
  • Technical diploma or degree (Engineering, HSE, or related discipline).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in energy or Solar PV construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction site HSE risks and controls.
  • Familiarity with international standards (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 preferred).

Site Presence Options
  • Resident option: Full-time on site
  • Ad-hoc option: Periodic site visits based on project needs
