Job Description: HSE Officer (3PL & Plastic Manufacturing Division)

Department: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE). Reporting To: General Manager (MDs Office). Location: JAFZA, DUBAI, UAE.
Industry: 3PL & Jerry Can Plastic Manufacturing.

Role Purpose

To develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental systems, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability across the group’s logistics and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and systems in compliance with national regulations and group standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits across warehouses, transport operations, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Drive awareness, training, and behavioral safety programs among staff and contractors.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near‑misses; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure environmental management in areas like waste disposal, emissions, energy, and plastic usage/recycling.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe equipment and facility conditions.
  • Prepare HSE reports and maintain documentation for audits and certifications (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Certifications: NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 3–5 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in 3PL, logistics, or plastic manufacturing industries.
