Job summary

A leading HSE firm in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced HSE Manager to implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies. This role involves leading a team of HSE professionals, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting site inspections, and developing training programs. Candidates should have 5-10 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas sector and hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering.   • Implement and monitor company HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a team of HSE Officers, HSE Engineers, and Road Safety Coordinators, ensuring their professional growth and effective performance.
  • Engage directly with clients to ensure full compliance with HSE requirements pertaining to various projects.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and update HSE training modules and materials based on the latest industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead safety training and awareness programs for all employees.
  • Liaise with governmental agencies and internal stakeholders to stay updated on the latest HSE regulations and standards.
  • Establish and maintain open lines of communication with both internal teams and external partners regarding HSE matters.
  • Monitor and review contractors' HSE plans and performance, ensuring alignment with the company’s standards and expectations.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes, recommend corrective actions, and prevent future occurrences.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and safety consciousness among employees.
  • Review and evaluate the efficacy of emergency response plans.
  • Prepare monthly HSE performance reports and metrics.
