Job summary

A leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi is seeking an HR Operations Coordinator (UAE Nationals only) to support employee relations. The role includes coordinating activities to ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and enhance workplace culture. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong interpersonal skills. Fluency in English is essential, and Arabic is an advantage. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with good analytical abilities.

Role: HR Operations Coordinator (UAE Nationals only)

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:

To support the Employee Relations (ER) function by coordinating employee relations activities ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies and maintaining a positive and productive workplace culture across the bank.

Key Accountabilities of the role:
1. Employee Relations Support
  • Act as a first point of contact for employees regarding HR policies grievances and workplace concerns.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of employee complaints and disciplinary cases.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential ER case records.
2. Policy and Compliance
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to employee relations cases warnings and investigations.
3. Engagement and Communication
  • Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement communication and workplace morale.
  • Assist in organizing employee feedback sessions surveys and recognition programs.
  • Maintain positive working relationships between HR management and staff.
4. HR Administration
  • Maintain up-to-date employee relations metrics and reports for management.
  • Support exit interviews and analyze trends to reduce turnover and improve satisfaction.
  • Participate in HR audits and ensure compliance documentation is complete.
  • Responsible for approving the leave on the system
  • Control the time attendance reports if any misused.
  • Received mobility request.
  • EOS Calculation.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • Solid understanding of UAE Labor Law
Specialist skills / technical knowledge required for this role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Good analytical problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
