What will I be doing

The Housekeeping Supervisor at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre provides True Waldorf service to guests and create authentic moments during their stay being proactive and responsive to guests concerns and inquiries. Provides guidance to team members throughout the shift. Conduct that demonstrates commitment and dedication to our Spirit of Service culture and our company values is expected at all times.

The Housekeeping Supervisor responsibilities include:

  • Training and supervise the room/suite and house attendants to ensure all rooms/suites and public areas are cleaned and comply with hotel standards.
  • Provide customer service to guests (internal /external) including information about hotel service activities and local attractions.
  • Inspect rooms complete reports verify status reports; report clean suites to hotel front desk and / or load into automated property management systems.
  • Assisting the Housekeeping Attendants in room cleaning and other related tasks as required.
  • Engage with guests throughout their stay and attend to guest requests and complaints in efficient and timely manner.
  • Helping to conduct quarterly linen inventories.
  • Conducts black light inspection in guest rooms.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Engineering/ property operations the repair and maintenance program as related to guest rooms and public areas.
  • Looking after the housekeeping department operation while in the evening shift.
  • Monitoring the turndown service.
  • Preparing turndown reports and conduct briefings.
  • Maintaining the master key and attendance log books.
  • Attend daily briefing.
  • Train the room attendants on regular basis to ensure brand standard compliance.
  • Monitoring the cleanliness and the appearance of guest rooms corridors trolleys and service areas.
