Qualifications

About the role

Looking for a detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and manage our housekeeping team in Fujairah, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include supervising staff, scheduling tasks, inspecting areas, and maintaining inventory while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Strong leadership and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

Villa Cleaning & Preparation

  • Supervise daily cleaning operations for all villas to ensure they meet company and guest standards.
  • Conduct detailed inspections before guest arrivals and after departures.
  • Ensure deep cleaning schedules are followed and completed on time.
  • Verify outdoor cleaning, pool areas, and landscaping are properly maintained.
  • Team Supervision & Coordination
  • Assign tasks to housekeeping staff and monitor performance during shifts.
  • Provide on the job training and guidance to ensure service excellence.
  • Coordinate with laundry teams for daily linen and towel requirements.

Warehouse / Inventory Management

  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of amenities, linens, guest supplies, and cleaning materials.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and issuance of items from the warehouse.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and report shortages.

PMS (Property Management System) Management

  • Record and update cleaning status of villas in PMS (clean, dirty, inspected, out of order).
  • Raise PMS issues for any defects, missing items, or housekeeping concerns.
  • Ensure all housekeeping updates are accurately reflected in the system.

Maintenance Follow-Up

  • Identify and report maintenance issues immediately (AC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances).
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team and follow up until issues are resolved.
  • Ensure villas are handed back properly after maintenance work.

Quality Assurance

  • Check all villas for missing or damaged items and update inventory records.
  • Ensure cleaning standards are aligned with company SOPs.
  • Conduct random spot checks throughout the day.

Guest Service Support

  • Respond to guest requests related to housekeeping in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate special setups (extra beds, baby cots, amenities).

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure staff follow health and safety procedures, including chemical handling.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all storage and back-of-house areas.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare daily housekeeping reports and shift summaries.
  • Report any incidents, property damage, or lost and found items.
  • Maintain updated checklists for inspections and inventories.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist in onboarding new staff.
  • Support management during high occupancy or urgent situations.
  • Ensure strong communication between housekeeping, front office, and maintenance teams.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. A degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Team leader.
  • Proficiency in English and other additional knowledge is plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to resolve guest issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
  • Ensure all guest needs and requests are met to the highest standard.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and support colleagues when necessary.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
