Housekeeping Intern

Housekeeping Traders Hotel Qaryat al Beri Abu Dhabi

We have a great opportunity for an Intern to join our Housekeeping Department. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to be fully immersed in the area learning at different levels of responsibility and working with a team.

What will you do

• Maintain and clean guests rooms including replenishing room supplies
• Adhere to Shangri-La room standards policy
• Inform valets to collect guests clothes for laundry dry cleaning or pressing
• Maintain the public and general areas
• Report any maintenance-related issue to the Housekeeping Department
• Work with hotel colleagues to keep excellent service standards.
• Be prepared to assist other Shangri-La colleagues/departments in a thoughtful manner.
• Be an ambassador for the brand.
• Empathetically listen to client queries/complaints and work with colleagues/management to find solutions.
