Job summary

An international hospitality group in Dubai is seeking an experienced IT professional to maintain and improve information systems within the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science and at least 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational hotel environment. Responsibilities include developing new programs, liaising with vendors, and coordinating IT-related projects. Proficiency with Opera MICROS POS and Oracle systems is a must.

Qualifications

• 4 years working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a multinational hotel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing information systems.
• Improve information systems in the hotel.
• Develop new programs for user departments.
• Coordinate with vendors on hardware maintenance.
• Supervise staff and schedule computer time.

Skills

Good spoken & written English

Knowledge of Opera MICROS POS

Familiarity with Oracle SUN system

Understand Microsoft products

Experience in networking technologies

Education
