Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education : Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Chemical Engineering.
- Experience : 2–5 years in lubricant or FMCG / chemical / liquid filling industry.
Working Conditions
- Shift-based work (may include night shifts or weekends).
- Exposure to lubricants and packaging environment.
- Standing for long hours on shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations :
- Daily planning and execution of lubricant oil filling as per production schedule.
- Operate and monitor filling machines (semi / fully automatic).
- Ensure correct filling volume, sealing, labeling, and batch coding.
- Minimize wastage and monitor yield.
Team Supervision :
- Supervise and guide filling operators and helpers.
- Allocate manpower as per shift plan.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and shift handovers.
Machine Maintenance Coordination :
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for routine servicing and breakdowns.
- Maintain basic preventive maintenance of filling machines.
- Ensure all safety interlocks and sensors are functioning properly.
Quality & Compliance :
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, GMP, and ISO standards.
- Conduct in-process quality checks (e.g., fill weight, leak test, visual inspection).
- Liaise with QA / QC team for sampling and approvals.
Safety & Housekeeping :
- Enforce PPE usage and safety protocols on the shop floor.
- Maintain 5S and hygiene in the filling area.
- Report and record near misses, incidents, or unsafe conditions.
Documentation & Reporting :
- Maintain shift-wise production logs, downtime records, and material consumption reports.
- Prepare daily production reports and share with management.
- Ensure traceability and batch records are properly maintained.
