Group HR Manager

Job Description:

Our client, a reputable group of companies with operations in the education and healthcare sectors, is seeking an experienced Group HR Manager to oversee the HR function across multiple companies within the group. The ideal candidate will have a strategic and hands‑on approach to HR management, demonstrating expertise in developing policies, managing employee relations, and implementing HR initiatives tailored to the needs of both education and healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures across the group, ensuring alignment with the organizations goals and compliance with UAE labor laws.
  • Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes for the group, sourcing top talent to support growth in both education and healthcare sectors.
  • Oversee employee relations, including grievance handling, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with senior management in workforce planning and development, identifying training needs and succession planning for key roles.
  • Implement and monitor performance management systems, ensuring clear KPIs and structured reviews across the group.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, benefits administration, and timely processing of employee‑related transactions.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and motivation, fostering a supportive and productive environment.
  • Provide guidance on HR best practices, legal compliance, and industry trends in education and healthcare.
  • Establish and manage HR budgets for each entity, ensuring cost‑effective solutions for HR activities.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the group.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Masters degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position overseeing HR functions in both education and healthcare sectors.
  • Proven experience managing HR operations across multiple companies or business units.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations, particularly as they apply to education and healthcare industries.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to implement HR initiatives that align with business goals.
  • Proficiency in HR software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a group or multi‑company environment within the UAE.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing HR strategies that support growth in regulated sectors like education and healthcare.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
