We are looking to recruit an Assistant Document Controller UAE National to join our team based in Dubai this role you be responsible for controlling the numbering filing sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by teams projects or departments in a timely accurate and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manages and oversees the document control system for operations
  • Ensures the accuracy quality and integrity of information stored in document control systems
  • Implements and maintains document control processes and systems to ensure efficient document handling and retrieval
  • Establishes and maintains master copy storage (hardcopy & electronic) for all technical documentation issued on projects
  • Ensures the correct filing and distribution of incoming and outgoing information on selective projects
  • Collaborates with different departments to ensure all documentation complies with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Manages requests for information and field design change requests
  • Coordinates the distribution and revision of technical documents reports and other project-related documents
  • Establishes project document registers for specific projects logs and files communications updates drawing and document status records and generates reports when requested
  • Maintains and updates document registers logs and archives ensuring traceability and easy access
  • Assists in the copying and compilation of data
  • Copies and distributes plans and procedures as directed
  • Serves as liaison on all administrative requirements including scope of work and scheduling of agreed deliverables
  • Ensures compliance with corporate Quality Health Safety Security and Environment (QHSSE) guidelines and published policies
  • Assumes shared responsibility for project office security including unlocking and locking where required
What Skills & Experience Will You Have
  • Must be a UAE national with a Family Book.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Management or related field (minimum requirement)
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience as a Document Controller preferably in a technology or engineering-focused industry
  • In-depth knowledge of Document Management Systems and MS Office applications (Excel SharePoint)
  • Proficiency in document control software and database management
  • Familiarity with technical drawings and documentation preferably with AutoCAD knowledge
  • Good command of English language (both verbal and written)
  • Experience in maritime industry preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
