Job summary

A leading bank in the UAE is looking for a Shariah Compliance Manager to oversee compliance for Islamic banking activities. This role supports the Head of Shariah Compliance in ensuring that all practices adhere to UAE regulations. Responsibilities include conducting compliance reviews, preparing reports, and advising on Shariah standards. Candidates should have at least 7 years of banking experience, a degree in Islamic banking, and be proficient in both English and Arabic. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a reputed bank or any financial institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Shariah Advisory or Compliance.
• In-depth understanding of Islamic banking products and services.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Shariah Compliance in managing Shariah compliance matters.
• Conduct periodical Shariah compliance reviews and assessments.
• Prepare Shariah Compliance reports for stakeholders.

Education
