Job summary

A leading HR consulting firm in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Human Resources Officer. The candidate will manage payroll and HR for expatriate employees in the oil and gas sector, ensuring compliance with international labor laws. Responsibilities include payroll processing, visa management, and maintaining employee records. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry, along with strong communication and organizational skills. Salary is AED 9,000 to 11,000 per month based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of HR and payroll experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
  • Proven experience handling payroll for 100 expatriate staff across different countries.
  • Strong knowledge of visa regulations and labor laws in the MENA region and Europe.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (Portuguese, Arabic, French, etc.) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage payroll for expatriate employees ensuring accuracy.
  • Administer end-to-end visa processing, residency permits, and work authorizations.
  • Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
  • Ensure compliance with international labor laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with departments regarding onboarding, benefits, and mobility.
  • Support audits and HR reporting.
  • Manage employee queries related to payroll and HR policies.
  • Contribute to policy development for global HR practices.
