A leading financial authority in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Economist with 10–20 years of macroeconomic analysis experience across the GCC. Candidates should have a Master's or Ph.D. in relevant fields, fluency in English, and ideally experience advising government stakeholders. This position is crucial for influencing decision-making at the highest levels.

Qualifications

  • 10–20 years of relevant experience, ideally within government entities or financial organizations.
  • Deep regional expertise in economic affairs of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
  • Experience advising senior leadership or government stakeholders is a strong plus.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead macroeconomic analysis of the GCC region, particularly Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
  • Develop executive-ready intelligence reports and forecasts for C-level audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate economic insights into broader initiatives.
  • Participate in scenario planning and risk analysis to assess macroeconomic shifts.
  • Maintain network with regional think tanks and research institutions.
