Job description

A Front Office Supervisor assists in managing daily Front Office operations and works with customers and Guests as part of a project demonstrating capabilities required in the hotel management sector.

What will I be doing?

As a Front Office Supervisor, you will assist in managing daily Front Office operations and work with customers and Guests. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supervising efficient reception operations, including check-in/out procedures
  • Supporting team members in handling guest requests and inquiries to ensure positive outcomes
  • Keeping the Front Office Manager and Supervisors informed of guest feedback and departmental updates
  • Demonstrating high levels of customer service at all times
  • Advising the team of any special events or VIP Guests
  • Understanding hotel room categories, rates, packages, and promotions
  • Monitoring the appearance, standards, and performance of the Front Office Team, emphasizing training and teamwork
  • Maximizing room occupancy and promoting hotel services through up-selling techniques
  • Ensuring team members are knowledgeable about all hotel offerings and local area
  • Exercising positive leadership to inspire team members to exceed standards
  • Adhering to fire, health, safety regulations and proper procedures
  • Following policies regarding front of house equipment and property management systems
  • Maintaining compliance with company brand standards
  • Assisting other departments as needed and fostering good working relationships
What are we looking for?

UAE nationals (Emirati) only, with previous experience in a customer-focused industry and a desire to progress within hospitality. Candidates should have:

  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • High grooming standards
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proficiency in IT

Preferred qualifications include supervisory experience and prior hotel industry experience.
