Job description

The FP&A function plays a critical role in guiding strategic and operational decision-making across our crypto payments business, supporting both B2B merchant services and our B2C consumer products. This role is responsible for providing financial insights, performance analytics, and forward-looking planning that enable the organization to scale efficiently and sustainably within the fast-evolving digital-asset ecosystem.

Key Value Elements
Financial Planning & Forecasting
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasting for B2B and B2C lines of business.
  • Build dynamic financial models that reflect crypto-specific revenue drivers, pricing, token economics, and transaction-based volume assumptions.
  • Support scenario planning around market volatility, regulatory impacts, and product growth trajectories.
Business Performance & Reporting
  • Own KPI dashboards and performance reporting across merchant processing, consumer wallets, and payment conversions.
  • Track unit economics, acquisition costs, retention metrics, and margin performance across customer segments.
  • Provide variance analysis and actionable commentary to senior leadership.
Strategic Support for B2B & B2C Product Teams
  • Partner with product, sales, and marketing leads to evaluate pricing strategies, new features, partnership economics, and promotional initiatives.
  • Model commercial agreements with merchants, payment partners, and liquidity providers.
  • Assess ROI for product launches, international expansion, and customer growth programs.
Crypto-Specific Financial Analysis
  • Understand blockchain transaction flows, settlement mechanics, and on/off-ramp economics.
  • Monitor impacts of token price movements, network fees, FX, and liquidity spreads on revenue and cost structure.
  • Coordinate with treasury and risk teams to ensure appropriate hedging, cash flow management, and exposure reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
  • Serve as the financial liaison across Product, Treasury, Risk, and Compliance functions.
  • Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership to support decision-making.
  • Drive process automation and improvements in financial tools, data integrity, and reporting accuracy.
Core Financial Skills
  • Strong financial modeling skills (revenue forecasting, unit economics, scenario planning).
  • Advanced analytical skills using Excel/Sheets and BI tools (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Solid understanding of P&L structure, margins, and performance KPIs.
  • Experience with variance analysis and management reporting.
Crypto & Payments Knowledge
  • Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals, settlement flows, and token/fee mechanics.
  • Understanding of transaction-based revenue models (processing fees, spreads, FX).
  • Ability to analyze the impact of crypto market volatility on financial results.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3–5+ years of FP&A, commercial finance, or strategic finance (preferably in fintech, payments, or SaaS).
  • Advanced financial modeling (forecasting, unit economics, scenario modeling).
  • Strong analytical capability with high proficiency in Excel/Sheets.
  • Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for dashboarding and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of P&L management, margin analysis, and performance KPIs.
  • Ability to analyze transaction-based businesses, including volumes, pricing, and conversion funnels.
  • Clear communication skills, able to simplify complex data for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional partnering with Product, Engineering, Risk, or Treasury teams.
  • Experience supporting both B2B and B2C product lines or multi-segment business models.
  • Prior involvement in product launches, commercial modeling, or go-to-market planning.
  • Experience working with fast-paced, high-growth, or ambiguous environments.
  • Familiarity with crypto markets, blockchain concepts, or digital-asset economics (strong plus).
  • Exposure to data analysis tools (SQL, Python, etc.) is beneficial but not required.
