• Adhere to and support One&Only One Za’abeel Quality Standards.
• Follow company guidelines regarding grooming, uniforms and personal hygiene.
• Report to property on time and in proper uniform.
• Provide a link between bar, kitchen and service areas running the food or beverage orders.
• Complete restaurant mis en place such as stocking up bars and restaurant, setting tables, kitchen pass and bar set up following SOP checklists for opening and closing.
• Work with stewarding team to manage restaurant clearance area, clean and polish OS&E.
• Follow directions from the waiter to ensure exceptional guest service.
• Preserve the work/clearing stations organized and stocked in order to better accommodate the needs of the waiter.
• Responsible for keeping buffet areas clean, tidy and safe by ensuring the stations are kept clean, organized, stocked up and floors free of any debris or liquids.
• Pick‑up and delivery of food and beverage items to the waiter sections/table and transport soiled dishes, glassware, silverware and napkins back to the back of house.
• Assist the waiter or bartender to deliver food and beverages to the tables.
• Be updated with food and beverages knowledge required to carry out duties.
• Receive and store food and beverage items adhering to all food hygiene regulations and procedures ISO.
• Contribute to a positive food safety culture and comply with O&O FSMS & Codex HACCP and Dubai Municipality food safety requirements.
• Ensure honesty and integrity in the way tasks are executed and records maintained.
• Report immediately to the immediate supervisor on any concerns that may be observed or realized which may affect food safety.
• Maintain an interest in food safety matters, actively participate in food safety training and be aware of all the control measures and record keeping for which they are directly responsible.
• Any other duties as assigned.
