Qualifications

  • A few years of luxury hospitality experience in a similar role is required.
  • BSc in Hospitality or relevant field from an accredited and renowned university or college.
  • Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Intermediate | Advanced).

  • Continuously create new ideas and improve standards in flower arranging.
  • Carefully inspect the quality of flowers received and ensure high-quality blooms.
  • Manage relationships with wholesalers and ensure consistent quality and supply.
  • Organise and maintain an adequate inventory of flowers and florist supplies.
  • Design and create flower arrangements tailored to specific locations within the resort.
  • Refresh and replenish flower arrangements regularly.

About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for a Florist Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Continuously create new ideas and improve standards in flower arranging to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the resort.
  • Carefully inspect the quality of flowers received and ensure only high‑quality blooms are used in arrangements.
  • Manage relationships with wholesalers, returning rejected flowers or plants and ensuring consistent quality and supply.
  • Organise and maintain an adequate inventory of flowers and florist supplies, sorting them according to type and size.
  • Design and create flower arrangements tailored to specific locations within the resort.
  • Ensure that flower arrangements are regularly refreshed and replenished as needed to maintain their appearance.
About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • A few years of luxury hospitality experience in a similar role is required
  • BSc in Hospitality or relevant field from an accredited and renowned university or college
  • Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Intermediate | Advanced)
  • Technical and soft skills
  • Additional language will be a big advantage
