Apt Resources is excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Financial Director to join a prestigious 4star luxurious hotel in Dubai. As the Financial Director you will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and managing all financial operations within the hotel. Your role will include financial planning analysis and management of budgeting and forecasting processes in order to enhance profitability and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning and analysis function to foster datadriven decisionmaking
• Manage the hotels financial performance including oversight of accounting cash flow and budgeting
• Develop and implement strategies aimed at maximizing profitability and optimizing financial results
• Prepare accurate financial statements reports and forecasts for senior management
• Direct and oversee the audit process ensuring compliance with financial regulations
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insight and guidance on cost management
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and enhance accountability
• Lead mentor and develop the finance team fostering a culture of high performance

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; CPA or CMA is preferred
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive financial management experience preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices specifically in hotel finance with Audit and Compliance background
• Proven track record of successful budgeting forecasting and financial analysis
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
• Proficiency with SUN Systems financial management software and tools
• Must be currently located in the UAE and available for an inperson interview
