Job summary

A luxury fashion brand is seeking a Finance Controller intern to support the finance control team in Dubai. The intern will monitor financial controls, analyze commercial performance, and prepare monthly dashboards for store KPIs. Candidates should be enrolled in a relevant Bachelor/Master program, possess strong analytical abilities, and have excellent communication skills. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the fashion industry.

About The Job

We are looking for our next Finance Controller intern to support the finance control team in the establishment and monitoring of the financial control at Louis Vuitton Middle East!

Profile

• Follow-up on commercial performance and KPI’s.
• Follow up on commercial sales target.
• Month end closing on Sales PL & Balance Sheet.
• Analysis selected expenses, and its compliance with the company purchasing policy.
• Send to the stores their sales target / performance against competition.
• Prepare the stores dashboard on the main KPIs monthly.
• Perform the review of the exchange rate and its update in the stores POS.
• Review the stock consumption and its compliance: Inv discrepancies report / packaging / uniforms.
• Perform special projects as assigned by management.

Additional information

• Professional abilities and qualities: Analysis abilities, business acumen, drive for results, curiosity, pragmatism and strong interpersonal communication skills & team player.
• Excel basis knowledge is mandatory.
• Experience in retail and SAP knowledge would be a plus. Advanced quantitative, analytical and computer skills.
• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master degree from a top engineering school or management school and looking for a gap or end of study internship.
• Speaking fluent English.
