Qualifications

  • Graduate in college with a degree in accounting.

  • Proficient in English communication and computer skills.

About The Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Officer – Accounts Payable to join Financein Jumeirah Living World Trade Center. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Receive all invoices from the receiving department daily, along with supporting documents for goods received, and verify their accuracy against purchase orders
  • Follow up on statements of account from suppliers
  • Prepare all government payments before the deadline
  • Reconcile payments against supplier statements of account
  • Process payments for all local suppliers' final dues through an escrow bank account, attaching related documents and invoices for reference
  • Handle all areas of accounts payable and adapt to changes as dictated by the hotel and Support and provide necessary documents during internal or external audits.
  • Address creditors' queries regarding invoices and payments promptly and professionally. Provide necessary support to the Financial Accountant
About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Graduate in college (degree in accounting)
  • Proficient in English communication and computer skills particularly MS applications
  • Ability to converse & communicate with internal & external guests with confidence
  • Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
  • Minimum 2 years to 3 years’ experience in a similar role in any five-star hotel
