Job description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with mandatory construction industry experience to oversee the company’s financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of project-based accounting, cost control, and cash flow management within the construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor project-wise costing, profitability, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UAE regulations and IFRS.
  • Control cash flow, working capital, and project financing requirements.
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate cost allocation and financial control.
  • Handle audits, VAT compliance, and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and policies.
  • Support management with financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic decision-making.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or professional qualification like CA / CPA / ACCA is an advantage).
  • Minimum 8–12 years of experience, with proven experience in the construction industry (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of construction accounting, project costing, and contract management.
  • Experience handling large-scale construction projects and multi-project environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of UAE VAT, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
