Job description

The Finance Assistant will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company, assisting in data entry, reconciliations, reporting, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
  • Help process invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Support monthly bank reconciliations and account analysis
  • Maintain and organize financial files and documentation
  • Track and reconcile petty cash and office expenditures
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers on payment-related queries
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance and Accounting team
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and controls
  • Perform various other finance duties as required by the business
Reports To

Finance Manager

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or Commerce
  • Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of or exposure to accounting software (e.g., Odoo, Sage, CRM) is an advantage
  • Familiarity with financial documents such as invoices, receipts, and vouchers
