Job Purpose

Successfully deliver and execute jobs such as preparation, installation, repair and maintenance of TechnipFMC equipment, or other brands, under field conditions and in an international on & offshore environment.

Job Description
  • Support and execute on a daily basis activities including but not limited to, preparation, installation, repair and maintenance of TFMC products as instructed by superiors.
  • Perform calculations and checks on and offshore such as, space outs, status of equipment, test pressures etc.
  • Works in a team as a professional service technician to install products and conduct repairs and maintenance of TFMC, and other brands, of equipment and maintaining assets of TFMC as per the Service Manual.
  • Ensure that all equipment, service tooling, backup and spare parts etc are on location and ready to use and fit for function prior to the start of each job.
  • Ensure that the field service reports and other associated reports are completed with all the required information, timing, part and serial numbers, type of equipment, issues faced, FNCR’s etc.
  • Maintains communication on a high level and on a daily basis with internal and external Company Representative on issues including job procedures, spare parts requirements, critical dimension measurements. Suggestions to improve on safety and or the operation, etc.
  • Provides sales support through quality customer interface and handles customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Completes Field Non-Conformance Reports (E-FNCR) forms. Assures all equipment and procedural defects are communicated back to TFMC Service Coordinator.
  • Proactively pursues safe work practices and complies with TechnipFMC Quality Management System requirements. Ensure smooth operations with a high focus on QHSE and enforce adhesion to TFMC code of ethics.
  • Reports from a project execution perspective to the Service Project Manager on a daily basis and inform him directly in case business critical decisions have to be made, operational, customer or personnel wise and support a MOC.
  • Act as an ambassador and identify opportunities for TFMC.
  • Constantly strive for improvement of safety, knowledge, professionalism and customer success.

Must have:

  • A. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/FORMAL EDUCATION: HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering or time served apprenticeship preferably in a mechanical, A formal technical and/or mechanical education (mechanic, hydraulics).
  • B. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Mechanical and/or hydraulic related experience, Capable of reading and understanding procedures and drawings, An understanding of safety in relation to working with pressurized equipment.
  • C. REQUIRED CERTIFICATE(S): A valid Health certificate for offshore work, Safety and Emergency Training.
  • D. REQUIRED INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Proactive attitude (responsiveness) with a high level of professionalism and accuracy, Problem solving skills with a systematic approach, Stress resistance, High level of communication and listening skills, Willing and able to travel abroad with flexibility in terms of working times/periods and locations/countries, A focus on quality and HES.
  • E. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS AND/OR PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS: Excellent in English language in writing and verbally, Computer skills: Competent and familiar with MS Office applications and email package(s).
  • F. REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of Surface Wellhead equipment, Knowledge of surface operation.
