Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Lead Field Process Engineer. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years in the oil and gas industry and proven ADNOC project experience. Responsibilities include overseeing field engineering activities, serving as a technical point between design and construction teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, along with a Bachelor's in Chemical or Process Engineering. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 8 years in field engineering roles for onshore projects.
• Proven experience in ADNOC projects is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all field process engineering activities at site.
• Serve as the technical focal point between engineering design and site construction teams.
• Review PFDs, P&IDs, and process design documents.
• Provide technical guidance during construction and start-up phases.
• Coordinate design queries and field change requests.
• Ensure proper implementation of ADNOC standards.
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Support construction and QA/QC teams in reviewing as-built documentation.
• Prepare and submit field engineering reports and progress updates.
