Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Operations Supervisor to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our agricultural farms and support key operational aspects of our entertainment division. This role requires a results-driven professional with a strong leadership background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage diverse teams across different business activities. The ideal candidate must be capable of managing agricultural operations while supporting broader company initiatives, ensuring efficiency, safety, and productivity in all aspects of operations.
Responsibilities
- Farm Operations: Supervise and manage daily activities on the farms, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and livestock care (if applicable).
- Ensure optimal use of resources, equipment, and labor to maximize productivity.
- Monitor crop/animal health and coordinate with specialists for pest control, fertilization, or veterinary support.
- Maintain high standards of farm hygiene, safety, and sustainability practices.
- Coordinate supply chain logistics, inventory, and procurement of farm inputs and equipment.
- Entertainment Operations Support: Collaborate with the entertainment team to support logistics, site preparation, events setup, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure operational readiness for entertainment events, attractions, and visitor services.
- Support health and safety compliance across entertainment facilities.
- General Operations & Leadership: Lead, train, and supervise a team of field workers, technicians, and operational staff.
- Monitor and improve operational workflows to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
- Track KPIs, budgets, and performance reports and present findings to upper management.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and internal policies.
- Coordinate between departments to ensure cross-functional alignment and smooth daily operations.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, cost savings, and innovation in both business areas.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, including supervisory or managerial roles.
- Proven experience in agriculture, farm management, or agribusiness is a must.
- Familiarity with the entertainment, leisure, or events industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle pressure in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing operational needs.
- Proficiency in operational software, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic data analysis.
Working Conditions
- Primarily field-based, with travel between farm locations and entertainment venues as needed.
- May require early mornings, weekend shifts, or extended hours during peak seasons or events.
- Must be comfortable working outdoors and in varied weather conditions.
